Julien Bissuel
CEO , 72andSunny
Julien Bissuel CEO, 72andSunny Toronto Born in Lyon, France, and seasoned in the Canadian market, Julien brings a rare dual perspective to the judging room. His career is split across two worlds: first as a Client-Side Marketer at CPG giants Procter & Gamble, PepsiCo, and Nestlé, where he mastered the P&L pressures of Fortune 500 brands; and later as an Agency Leader at DDB, TBWA, and Forsman & Bodenfors, where he spearheaded business turnarounds and led the Apple Canada account. Now, as CEO of 72andSunny Toronto, Julien combines this financial rigour with a "born modern" creative philosophy, helping brands bridge the gap between business strategy and cultural relevance.
Why do you think the awards are important?
I believe that awards serve as a vital North Star for the industry. For 72andSunny, we believe creativity is the most powerful force in business. These awards are important because they validate work that doesn't just 'run' in the market, but actually moves the needle on culture and drive tangible business results. Awards also provide the 'social proof' that keeps our industry's talent hungry and our clients brave.
